Early Access Announcement

Hello, Aces! I’m thrilled to share that on September 10, Towerborne rolls out on Steam Early Access. This is your chance to join us from the very start of this journey. And don’t worry, Xbox players—Towerborne will be arriving on Xbox Game Preview in early 2025.

Why Early Access matters

At Stoic, we’ve always believed that the best games come from collaboration between players and developers. Our journey began with Banner Saga, where the support of our Kickstarter backers helped us create something truly special. Now, with Towerborne, we’re continuing that tradition.

Six years ago we pitched Towerborne as a free-to-play, Early Access game. We’re fortunate to have a partner willing to do things a little differently for the health and support of the title. Early Access isn’t just about getting the game early—it’s about helping shape it. Your feedback will help us.

Be a Founder, shape the game

If you choose to buy a Founder’s Pack, you will get early access to the game – including exclusive rewards – and importantly, the opportunity to influence the world of Towerborne

Founders you’re investing in more than just exclusive items—you’re investing in the future of Towerborne. This is about joining a group of passionate players who are excited to help shape the experience of Towerborne alongside us. And don’t worry, if you start in Steam Early Access you’ll keep all of your Founder’s Pack exclusive items should you choose to play on Xbox later on.

This is just the beginning …

We’re committed to a player-first approach, ensuring Towerborne remains fair and fun for everyone. One of our core commitments: while Towerborne will eventually become free-to-play, the game will never offer pay-to-progress advantages.

We’ve been working on this game for more than 5 years. And I am so incredibly proud of the team that poured their passion and talent into it. With Towerborne, Stoic is continuing our trend of creating new worlds inside games we ourselves are excited to pick up and play with our family and friends.

And now, we get to build – and play – with all of you.

Mark your calendars for September 10. Visit our website and join our Discord to stay up to date. And get ready to defend the Belfry in Steam Early Access!
